I highly recommend Florida Air Conditioning and Heating Inc, they gave a 3-hour window and the tech Dave arrived on time. I received a text about 1 hour prior to arrival. This text had a link that allowed me to track the technician on his way to my home. I thought this was a great touch. This should be SOP for all service, but it's not. Dave V. got to my home and did a quick call with me while I was at work. Less than 3 mins, he was on his way to assessing the issue. Of all the people I called and I called the top 10 rated on Google. Florida Air Conditioning and Heating Inc was on site within 3 hours of taking my call. All others companies could not make it until the afternoon at best, and in some cases not until the next day. Dave quickly assessed the issue as being with the capacitor, something he described as a wear and tear part that would go out as easily as a light bulb. It costs approximately $174 dollars to have the unit fixed. I considered this a great value, given that response time, efficiency of repair, and overall customer service. Dave was on site for less than 45 minutes and the unit was blowing cool/cold air before he left. Florida air conditioning and heating have excellent customer service. the entire experience set a new level of expectation for contractors coming in to do repair work in my home. With my unit under warranty I did not opt for the maintenance plan. However if I have any further issues with my heating and air conditioning unit . Florida Air Conditioning and Heating Inc will be the first and only call that I make to get the job done. They have earned my family trust.

I highly recommend this company! The receptionist who answered my calls was kind, helpful and polite. The gentleman who came out to fix our A/C a tad after 6pm. He spent well over an hour diagnosing the issue, and then fixed it for us. This is after another company sent out a man, twice, and was rude the last time. He chalked it up as a breaker problem, and refused to do anything. That guy didn't spend a lot of time and came during more convenient work hours. I so appreciate the time he spent, I know he likely had things to do that late in the evening, and I can't say thank you enough for not making us suffer longer in the heat. Thank you again
